Hi, I'm Liv
I am a sun-saluting, wild-weed-collecting, mountain-hiking, living-room-dancing, life-chatting, salad-crunching, icecream-inhaling beet-fiend with a knack for planning big.
I come from a family of creatives, gardeners, sailors, dreamers, and realists alike: the daughter of a yogi and a craftsman, and big sister to an inventor, a nurturer, and two perpetual puppies. When not neck-deep in a new and exciting course (or adding to my list of next-to-learns) you will find me strolling through the market searching out inspiration for my next meal (which is always on my mind), hiking a trail with an adventure-seeking pal, or plunging into a riveting conversation about you-name-it.
Fuelled by an enthusiasm for mindful, healthful, and intentional living, my goal is to spark conversation, encourage collaboration, and grow a community of health-happy movers, makers, growers, thinkers, creators, and game changers. This site is my manifesto and you beautiful microcosms of sunshine and moonbeams are my tribe (if you'll have me).
I am absolutely tickled that the universe has led us to one another and am thrilled to have you join on this adventure! Let's start the conversation - I know it's going to be a juicy one!
With gratitude and heaps of love,
A little more
So, how does salad-crunching qualify me to pioneer this nook of the net? Well, I have a little more under my belt than too many bowls of ice-cream:
I graduated from Queen’s University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking. While still completing my undergrad, I became certified as a yoga teacher under the Yoga Alliance (200-hour YTT, Frog Lotus Yoga) and have been teaching on and off ever since (right now I’m on and am loving it more than ever). Last year I completed the Living Ayurveda course with Cate Stillman (www.yogahealer.com) and I have most recently completed my training in Girlvana Yoga (www.girlvana.com).
With five years of teaching experience under my mat, I am now looking to expand. Cue Woosah Wellness, the all-things-body-mind-spirit community hub I am building right here.
